GREEN SHEET COMPOSITION FOR LOW TEMPERATURE COFIRED CERAMIC ON METAL

PURPOSE: A green sheet composition for a low temperature cofired ceramic on metal is provided which improves roughness, density, strength and roughness after calcination of the green sheet. CONSTITUTION: The green sheet composition comprises: (i) 45-70 wt.% of coarse crystallized glass powder having a particle size of 7-13 micrometers and fine crystallized glass powder having a particle size of 1-3 micrometers; (ii) 5-10 wt.% of amorphous glass powder having a particle size of 4-8 micrometers; (iii) 5-15 wt.% of ceramic filler having a particle size of 2-4 micrometers; (v) 0-1 wt.% of a color former; (vi) 10-20 wt.% of a dispersion solution; and (vii) 10-20 wt.% of a resin solution.
