PURPOSE: A converting valve is provided to prevent failure such as short circuit and power failure in a power exposure portion of connection terminal and control circuit of contact terminal of motor for driving valve shaft caused by humidity infiltration to an exposed portion in occurrence of leakage. CONSTITUTION: A converting valve body(200) forms a fluid passage of three directions and containing a ball valve extending a valve shaft(212) in a drive portion. The drive portion is composed of a primary wall member(310), a secondary wall member(320), a drive motor(330) arranged on outer side of the wall members and a cover. A specific protrusion(312) is placed between the primary wall member and the secondary wall member and fixed with a bolt to intercept an opening end of a valve body. Therefore, water leakage occurring through a through hole of the primary wall member and the valve shaft is discharged outside via a space(a) defined between the primary wall member and the secondary wall member to prevent the infiltration of humidity to a power contact terminal and a drive motor outward of the secondary wall member.
