摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for agitating hot metal for manufacturing a metallic composite material is provided to remove pore defects inside a composite material manufactured due to air or gases by constructing agitating plates and agitating pipe so that the addition of air or environmental gases due to vortex flow generated by agitating fins of an existing apparatus to the inside hot metal is prevented during manufacturing of the metallic composite material in a hot metal agitating method. CONSTITUTION: In a hot metal agitating apparatus for manufacturing a metallic composite material equipped with a crucible (10) and an electric furnace (9), the apparatus for agitating hot metal for manufacturing a metallic composite material comprises a hollow shaped agitating pipe (8) on the inner surface of which one or more agitating plates (7) agitating with being dipped inside hot metal in the crucible (10) are formed, wherein the agitating pipe (8) agitates and mixes reinforcement flown in through a reinforcement injecting hole (2) and an upper side opened hole part (8a) of the upper side of the agitating pipe (8) with the hot metal, and discharges the mixed hot metal through an opened hole part (8b) of the lower side of the agitating pipe (8); and a motor (1) providing rotational power to the agitating pipe (8), wherein the agitating plates (7) are in a rectangular, triangular or hemicyclic shape.
