METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EXHAUST FUNCTION OF MICROWAVE OVEN WITH FUNCTION OF HOOD

PURPOSE: An exhaust function control method of a microwave oven having function of a hood is provided to improve the efficiency of cooking by restraining an exhaust function during cooking according to a convection function in a microwave oven with a function of a hood. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust function control method comprises the steps of: selecting a menu(100); deciding if a selected menu is related with a hot air convection function(110); and controlling to restrain an exhaust function(120) if a presently advancing menu is related with the hot air convection function. According to the selective operation of the exhaust function, the loss of heat in a cavity is avoided. Therefore, the efficiency of cooking is improved and the retardation of cooking time is prevented.
