摘要 PURPOSE: A thermal insulation control method for an induction heating cooker is provided to optimize the thermal insulation processing by variably controlling the desired thermal insulation temperature according to the external temperature. CONSTITUTION: The thermal insulation control method for an induction heating cooker includes the steps of measuring the external temperature, determining the desired thermal insulation temperature according to the measured external temperature, and controlling the thermal insulation temperature to track the desired thermal insulation temperature. The induction heating cooker has a working coil, a bottom sensor, a side heater, a top heater, a microcomputer, and a thermistor to detect the external temperature. The microcomputer initializes the buffer(100), detects the external temperature and saves it(105), determines whether the external temperature is lower than 12 °C(110), sets the desired thermal insulation temperature as 67 °C when the external temperature is under 12 °C(130), determines whether the external temperature is over 32 °C(115), and sets the desired thermal insulation temperature as 71 °C when the external temperature is over 32 °C(120) or as 69 °C when the external temperature belongs to the range from 12 °C to 32 °C(125). After setting the desired thermal insulation temperature, the microcomputer controls the output duty ratios of the working coil, top heater, and the side heater by measuring the magnitude of the input power. If the magnitude is under 220V(140), then output duty ratios of the working coil, top heater, and the side heater are set by 1, 4, and 9 respectively(145). If the magnitude is over 238V(135), then output duty ratios of the working coil, top heater, and the side heater are set by 1, 2, and 5 respectively(155). If the magnitude belongs to between 220V and 238V, then output duty ratios of the working coil, top heater, and the side heater are set by 1, 3, and 7 respectively(150). The working coil and the top heater and the side heater are heated for their own duty ratio.
