PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional competing game device is a large size since a detection magnet for detecting driven body detachment that a driven body is detached from magnetic coupling it with a driving body is separately arranged. SOLUTION: In this competing game device, the driving body driven by a motor and the driven body disposed oppositely to the driving body through a gap are coupled by the magnetic couplings each formed of magnets, the magnet provided on the driving body is made vertically movable with respect to a spindle and the driven body detachment that the driven body is detected from the driving body is acknowledged at the time of detecting that the magnet of the driving body is at a lower position by a sensor. The magnet of the driving body is attracted to the magnet of the driven body and positioned at an upper part when the magnet of the driving body faces the magnet of the driven body and the magnet of the driving body is not attracted to the magnet of the driven body and is moved so as to be positioned at a lower part by gravity when the magnet of the driving body does not face the magnet of the driven body.
