PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spot welding electrode and its dressing device excellent in durability, capable of improving continuous spotting property and obtaining high welding quality. SOLUTION: In a spot welding electrode used for a galvanized steel plate, when a diameter of a tip center part of a dome type electrode 1 is (d), the tip center part is formed with a radius of curvature calculated in R=T/2+d×d/8 from the tip over a thickness of T=0.05-0.3 mm in the axial direction.
