PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a shearing mode ink jet recording head that the rigidity is low because a partition wall and a top plate forming a pressuring chamber are secured through an adhesive and a specified displacement can not be attained when the barrier is bent. SOLUTION: Between two or more juxtaposed ceramic plates 2, 3, a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic partition walls 4 having a drive electrode 5 are formed while being bonded integrally through sintering at a specified interval. Two ceramic plates 2, 3 disposed vertically and the interposed partition walls 4 define spaces serving as the pressuring chambers 1 of ink in the ink jet recording head 10.
