PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for strengthening masseter muscles which enables an effective muscle strengthening training to be performed wherein jaws are opened and closed against the urging forces of a resilient element. SOLUTION: The apparatus for strengthening masseter muscles includes an upper jaw receiving member 1, a lower jaw receiving member 2, and a resilient element 3 which urges both the members 1, 2 in a direction in which both the members are urged in the opening direction of the jaws.
