PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper holder firmly fixed to a core. SOLUTION: The paper holder is composed of a male holder 37 and a female holder 39. The respective holders 37, 38 are fitted in both ends of a recording paper roll 16 for winding recording paper on a core 17. A slipping-out preventive member 56 is arranged for preventing slipping-out from the core 17 by pressing the inner periphery of the core 17 to an engaging part 38 of the female holder 37. The slipping-out preventive member 56 is energized in the direction for a pressing part 56a to press the inner periphery of the core 17 by a plate spring 40. The slipping-out preventive member 56 is pressed by the outer periphery of an engaging shaft 36 when installing the male holder 37 and the female holder 39, and the pressing part 56a is press-fitted to the core 17 by strong force.
