PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip rail locking type switch-and-lock movement apparatus capable of maintaining for long time the initial setting state of locking of a tip rail to a base rail, forming a double locking to the tip rail by a locking at the position other than the locking position, and reducing the number of parts used. SOLUTION: A locking element moving in correspondence with a first movable body is rockably pivoted on a movable body, and the contact element of the locking element is allowed to abut on the inner wall surface of a tip end rail by the movement of the first movable body and the engaging element of the locking element is engaged with a cut-out provided in a floorplate. A removable element moved forward and backward by a second movable body is faced detachably toward a second locking lever, a connecting lever interlocking with the second locking lever is connected to the tip rail so as to form a double locking state of both the locking element and the connecting lever.
