PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document holder for easily assembling members for holding a document and easily separating the members. SOLUTION: The document holder comprises binding rings 1,..., each having elasticity and made of a synthetic resin, and a binding plate 2 for attaching and detaching the rings and having elasticity. The plate 2 has a base plate 4 having two pairs of first inserting holes 3, 3 and 3, 3 for inserting the rings and sequentially provided in parallel at the upper and lower parts, and a covering plate 5 for covering. The covering plate has two pairs of second inserting holes 6, 6, and 6, 6 corresponding to the first holes provided at the base plate, and inserting cutting lines 7, 7,..., provided between the two pairs of the second holes. Further, the covering plate is bent at the center between the two pairs of the second holes. A central folding line 8 for superposing the inserting cutting lines is formed. Cutout holes 9, 9,..., are provided at the intersections of the inserting cutting lines and the line 8.
