PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an antitheft function, eliminate dedicated release-signal generating equipment, simplify a release setting operation, and improve operability of a plurality of users for an audio function, in an on-vehicle audio device. SOLUTION: An audio device body 1 comprises a microcomputer 2 driven by operation by a key 11, an interface part 3 for connecting a portable telephones 6, and a memory 7 for storing a pair of setting information every portable telephone 6 and setting information every operator. Only when the portable telephone 6 registered on this memory 7 is connected, the audio function is made effective based on the setting information every portable telephone 6. When a portable telephone that is not set or registered on the memory 7 is connected, the audio function is prohibited.
