PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the powder of a carbon brush from being adhered to a power source cord and to improve cooling efficiency in the power source cord in an internal circulation type vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: In the internal circulation type vacuum cleaner, a cord reel chamber 28 for storing a cord reel 29 is arranged to be close to a dust sucking fan 4 and a rectifier motor 3 in a cleaner main body 1. A cord reel chamber 28 is provided with a reel chamber intake communication port 28b for taking-in a part of exhaust passing through a dust collecting filter 5 by the fan 4 and a discharge port communicating with an external part.
