PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a welding wire smoothly and stably from a wire feeding device to a welding torch. SOLUTION: This device is a supporting device 40 for floatingly supporting the wire feeding device 20 for feeding the welding wire 12 to the welding torch 31 of a welding robot 30 so as to be able to follow the movement of the welding torch 31. The wire axis when the welding wire 12 horizontally fed with the wire feeding device 20 is taken as an X-axis, a horizontal axis orthogonal to the X-axis as a Y-axis and a vertical axis orthogonal to these X- and Y-axes as a Z-axis. A supporting member 41 is fixed on a ceiling, an X-axis moving member 50 is mounted on this supporting member 41 freely movably back and forth along the X-axis, a supporting joint 60 is attached rotatably around the Y-axis and Z-axis to this X-axis moving member 50 and the wire feeding device 20 is hung on this supporting joint 60.
