PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box of an automobile having a table settable in a using position by opening a door. SOLUTION: Front side and rear side arms 21, 22 are pivotally fixed to a table plate 20, and a lower end part of the rear side arm 22 is pivotally fixed to a door 2a. An elongate hole 26 for guiding both end parts of a shaft 23 for supporting a lower end part of the arm 21 by being energized backward by a spring 29 is formed in a vertical sheet-like base 11. The front end position is set so that the arms 21, 22 constitute parallel links for raising the table plate 20. A rear end position of the elongate hole 26 is set so as to rotate the table plate 20 to a horizontal using position with the arm 22 as a fulcrum by the arm 21 sliding to the rear end position in a rising position. A lever 30 for restricting the shaft 23 on the front edge in the front end position of the elongate hole 26 is pivotally fixed to the door 2a. A lock pin 39 is projected on the arm 21, and a lock groove 38 is formed on the lever 30, for engaging with the lock pin 39 by rotating downward in a state where the shaft 23 released from restriction by the front edge slides to the rear end position of the elongate hole 26 by the upward rotary operation.
