PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face plate consisting of a base material and the film covering the surface of the base material, putting the texture of the base material to practical use and easily corresponding to an environmental problem. SOLUTION: In a face plate, a film 3 is laminated to the whole surface of a base material 2 by an adhesive or welding and the film 3 covering at least the surface on the side of the use surface 21 of the base material 2 is constituted of a transparent film.
