摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ferrous sintered body capable of stably producing a ferrous sintered body having high strength and high density of 7.30 Mg/m3 or more. SOLUTION: A preheated die whose surface is electrified and deposited with a lubricant for warm die lubrication is filled with a heated ferrous powdery mixture containing ferrous powder, graphite powder of >0.35 to 1.2 mass% and a lubricant for compacting of 0.05 to 0.40 mass% to the total content of the ferrous powdery mixture, thereafter the mixture is compacted at a prescribed temperature to form a ferrous compact, and, next, the ferrous compact is subjected to sintering treatment, is subsequently subjected to bright quenching treatment and is then subjected to tempering treatment.
