PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook in which there is no fear that a finger grasping a switching rod interferes in a thick latched body, resulting in no fear of damaging the finger and which improves working capacity due to easy putting on and off for the thick latched body. SOLUTION: The hook comprising a latching portion 1a in a U-form and a successively formed grip portion 1b in a gently curved form in which a hook body 1 having a connecting portion for connecting a net or the like to a base part 1b' of the grip portion 1b in a gently curved form and an open portion H for passing the latched body between a tip part 1a' of the latching portion 1a in a U-form and the base part 1b' of the grip portion 1b in a gently curved form are established and the open portion H is opened and closed by tying a switching rod 2 to the base part 1b', wherein the switching rod 2 is formed as a joint type switching rod which elastically bends.
