In this case, a hollow fiber membrane layer spreading over the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical core by the hollow fiber membrane is in a multilayer state. In the hollow fiber membrane layer, a crossing part in which the hollow fiber membrane crosses and a folded-back part of the hollow fiber membrane in a gas exchange effective part do not exist.
