PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger stand for garments which has compact structure where a pole can be divided into plural parts and arms and legs can be folded and which is attached with foldable cover at need. SOLUTION: In the hanger stand for garments obtained by forming a hanger main body 3 in the shape of radially and projectingly providing the plural arms 13 from an upper pole 10 and a hanger supporting body 4 in the shaped of supporting a lower pole 19 for erecting the main body 3 rotatably and height- adjustably by the plural legs 20 in a state being capable of disassembling and assembling, the main body 3 is provided with an arm opening and closing mechanism formed with an upper slide ring 18 and an upper connecting rod 15, and the body 4 is provided with a leg opening and closing mechanism formed with a lower slide ring 24 and a lower connecting rod 27 to constitute the arms 13 and the legs 20 to be foldable respectively.
