PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting and lowering type sanitary suspended shelf which can prevent insects or dust from penetrating into the shelf. SOLUTION: In the lifting and lowering type suspended shelf provided with an inner box 2 which can be ascendably and descendably received in an outer box 1 from the bottom side thereof, of which bottom side is opened, a packing 8 is provided on the periphery of the lower part of the inner side surface of the outer box 1 to close a space between the lower part of the inner side surface of the box 1 and the outer side surface of the box 2.
