PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine which can form a plate easily and regenerate the plate reversibly and its printing plate. SOLUTION: In the printing plate for the printing machine which forms an image by using water base ink before forming a latent image, the surface for forming the latent image indicates ultra-repellency to the ink, can make a water-soluble substance used in the formation of the latent image adhere to the surface, and can form the latent image by making the water-soluble substance adhere to the surface of the plate. After the end of subsequent development and transfer processes, the printing plate is washed with water and dried to be regenerated as a plate which can form a new latent image.
