<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorbing element capable of suppressing the lowering of adsorbing capacity caused by the short pass of gas to be treated and the lowering of desorbing capacity caused by the short pass of desorbing gas and capable of being simply manufactured to be reduced in production cost. SOLUTION: Both end parts of an activated carbon fiber material winding core are separately connected to the central part of an unperforated flange and the central part of a perforated flange 3 having a gas flow hole 2 formed to the center thereof to form an activated carbon fiber material winding body having the winding core 4 in a vertical posture. The winding core 4 is formed into a cylindrical shape of which the inner space communicates with the gas flow hole 2 so as to pass air in inner and outer directions in a radial direction and an activated carbon fiber material 6 is wound around the winding core 4 and gas to be treated is passed in the inner and outer directions of the activated carbon fiber material layer in the radial direction thereof to be subjected to adsorbing treatment. A predetermined number of a shape holding members for holding the activated carbon fiber material is provided in the activated carbon fiber material layer.</p> |
