PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce resin feet for a chair having high strength inexpensively. SOLUTION: Trough-shaped branch rods 2 extending radially are formed integrally in a cylinder part 1 in which a gas cylinder is inserted, and an intermediate side plate 5, two linear ribs 6, and an X-shaped cross rib 7 are formed in each branch rod 2. No rib is formed in a crotch part 8 in which the adjacent branch rods 2 are connected with each other. When a foot is produced by injecting a composite material in which glass fibers are mixed in a general purpose resin such as polypropylene into the cavity of a mold, since the composite material flows in the cavity to be separated linearly from the gate of the mold, the glass fibers are oriented to extend in the longitudinal direction of the rods 2. As a result, high strength can be obtained.
