PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent hair care cosmetic having excellent transparency and temperature stability and excellent effect of making the hair soft and smooth and improving hair combing. SOLUTION: This transparent hair care cosmetic comprises 3-30 wt.% of glycerol and/or a polyglycerol having 2-10 average polymerization degree, 1-10 wt.% of a polyether modified silicone, 0.1-5 wt.% of cationic polymer compound and 0.1-5 wt.% of cationic surfactant.
