SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing ices, having a cooling cylinder 11 for cooling a mix of a raw material, and a stirrer 12 arranged in the vicinity of the cooling cylinder 11 and for stirring the mix, and capable of producing the icis or the like by stirring the mix by the stirrer 12 while cooling the mix by the cooling cylinder 11, has a driving device, i.e., an electrically driven motor 35, installed in the vicinity of the cooling cylinder 11, a rotary guide part 36 rotated by the electrically driven motor 35 and rotating on the circumference surface of the cooling cylinder 11, and a rotation-following part 34 installed in the stirrer 12, and moving so as to follow the rotary guide part 36, and constituted so that the rotation-following part 34 is synchronously moved with the rotary guide part 36 in a non-contact state.
