PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical article for handicrafts capable of stably retaining external shape in spherical state. SOLUTION: A core body 12 composed of cotton or pieces of cloth is rounded in a spherical shape and an intermediate part of a linear material 13 is wound around the circumference and the linear material 13 is twisted together. Decorative skin 14 is applied to the surface of the core body 12 and the peripheral edge is sewed together and closed and the twisted part of the linear material 13 is led from the closed part to the outside. Since the linear material is wound around the core body 12 and the center of the core body 12 is fastened in denser state of density than that of other parts by a center setting part 13a of the linear material 13, the spherical article 11 for handicrafts can stably be retained in spherical shape in a state in which the center of the core body 12 is set and the decorative skin covers the core body 12.
