PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-tube structureal cooling tube cast into a stave cooler, obtaining high cooling capacity by strengthening the sticking of a pottery tube and an outer tube and bonding by fusing the base material and the outer tube to make high heat conductivity. SOLUTION: In the cooling tube of a stave cooler used for cooling of furnace wall of a blast furnace, an electric furnace, etc., plural outer tubes 2 are disposed and closely stuck with an interval to the inner tube 1 cast with a cast iron to form the double-tubes, and an annular ceramic board 3 is inserted between the outer tubes. On the outer surface of the outer tube, a recessing part or a projecting part is arranged, and the outer diameter D1 of the inner tube and the inner diameter d2 of the outer tube are made to d2<D1-0.5.
