PURPOSE:To allow smooth hill start of vehicle by performing torque control of a motor depending on the creep torque at the time of torque control when torque control through a creep torque control means is released. CONSTITUTION:When torque control through a creep torque control means is released, torque control of a motor is performed by a creep corresponding torque control means depending on the creep torque at that time. The higher the creep torque, i.e., the higher the upgrade of pavement, the smaller accelerator operating amount is required for generating normal torque. This constitution generates high torque with small accelerator operating amount as compared with normal running on a flat road at the time of significant upgrade hill start thus allowing smooth start of vehicle without requiring full stepping of accelerator pedal. |
