PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root preventing sheet capable of effectively preventing roots of plant from extending from the joint of root preventing sheet. SOLUTION: In this root preventing sheet 1 for controlling extension of roots of plant planted on an artificial ground, a sheet joint zone 2 is provided with a root preventing metal component. The root preventing metal component may be arranged in a linear state along a sheet joint zone in the sheet joint zone and the root preventing metal component may be at least one of a copper component and a silver component and especially a copper wire 3. The structure of the sheet may be a structure in which the sheet is embossed so that its surface side and back side can be mutually engaged. |
