<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which a large amount of waste liquid containing water generated in a process for synthesizing an organic compound by using a gas phase reaction is concentrated efficiently without releasing chemical oxygen demand(COD) substances and odorous substances contained in exhaust gas outside a system, and the waste liquid and the exhaust gas are detoxified and a method for implementing the above treatment stably for a long period. SOLUTION: For example, with the use of a gas-liquid contact column, a large amount of waste liquid containing water is directly contacted with exhaust gas generated in a process for synthesizing an organic compound, and the waste liquid is concentrated. After that, the concentrated waste liquid and the exhaust gas are burned completely to detoxify the liquid and the gas.</p> |
