PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simple and efficient production of a composite nonwoven fabric that comprises a nonwoven fabric and an elastomer and has a large stretchability in one direction and a high rigidity in the other direction. SOLUTION: A forming part for allowing a web 7 to bend into a cylinder in the widthwise direction comprises a cylinder-forming guide 21 and a cylindrical guide 22, and a rotary die 3 that is driven by a die-rotation motor 11 is arranged inside the cylinder guide 22. In the web 7, a plurality of filaments are arranged almost in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the web 7. The molten elastomer is extruded from a nozzle 5 of the rotary die 3 toward the inner face of the cylindrical web 7 in the cylinder guide 22 by the pressure from an extruder 1, while the rotary die 3 is allowed to rotate. Elastic strands 10 are extended and laminated on the web 7, as they run in the direction almost crossing the filament arrangement of the web 7, whereby the objective cylindrical form of the composite nonwoven fabric 8 is formed, then the cylindrical composite nonwoven fabric 8 is cut with cutters 24a and 24b and extended into a flat form.
