PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet head for ejecting ink in a plurality of pressure chambers 3 through a piezoelectric actuator 21 in which wiring parts 24b of individual electrodes 24 is protected surely against dielectric breakdown while reducing the size of the ink jet head by decreasing the interval of the pressure chambers 3 as much as possible when the wiring part 24b of individual electrodes 24 is arranged to pass between the adjacent pressure chambers 3. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 23 is provided on a common electrode 22 without being individualized. The piezoelectric element 23 comprises a first buried part 23b filling the gap between wiring parts 24b located between adjacent pressure chambers 3 and an electrode body part 24a corresponding to the adjacent pressure chambers 3, and a second buried part 23c filling the gap between the wiring parts 24b located between adjacent pressure chambers 3.
