PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin care preparation containing a new bleaching ingredient having higher demelanizing actions than conventional bleaching agents and capable of imparting desired drug actions without being transmuted in the formulation. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation comprises an extract of Pueraria mirifica, or comprises the extract and one or more agents having drug actions selected from a bleaching agent, an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory agent and an ultraviolet ray inhibitor.
