PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for an exhaust gas treatment facility capable of surely preventing a hot spot in the exhaust gas treatment facility which utilises a moving bed of a carbonaceous adsorbent and/or a carbonaceous catalyst. SOLUTION: In an operation method for an exhaust gas treatment facility wherein a moving bed of the carbonaceous adsorbent and/or the carbonaceous catalyst which is casted from an upper hopper 2, is allowed to flow downward, a gas to be treated is passed through the moving bed 1, exhaust gas treatment is carried out by the carbonaceous adsorbent and/or the carbonaceous catalyst, and besides the carbonaceous adsorbent and/or the carbonaceous catalyst are discharged to a lower hopper 3 or outside through a lower cone 12, low oxygen concentration gas is blown into the lower cone 12, and a hot spot is prevented from being generated by substituting the low oxygen concentration gas for the inside air. |
