PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a storage tank, which makes construction simple and easy, which prevents damage from being caused by load concentration, and which improves durability and earthquake resistance. SOLUTION: A support frame body having a rigid structure of an integrated framework is formed with low-level vertical materials set on a foundation bed on the ground and a lateral frame for connecting upper parts of the vertical materials in a horizontal direction. A curved bottom outer wall face of the storage tank is stored inside the support frame body surrounded by the lateral frame, and curved surface contact members which contacts the curved bottom outer wall face of the storage tank, to which a vertical load of the storage tank is imparted, and each of which has a size large enough to restrict the storage tank so as not to move in a horizontal direction are provided on the lateral frame of the support frame body. The curved surface contact members support the curved bottom outer wall face of the storage tank in a slidably contact state without fixing it.
