PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person from forgetting to hand over either a handkerchief or a portable tissue when the handkerchief and the portable tissue are brought to another person and facilitate to arrange the stored contents in a bag or the like. SOLUTION: A portable tissue container is comprised of a tissue storing segment for use in storing tissue, an opening through which the tissue stored in said tissue storing segment is taken out, and at least one engagement segment for removably engaging with a handkerchief. In addition, the handkerchief is provided with the engagement segment to be removably engaged with an item to be portable. Further, the tissue storing segment for storing the tissue, the opening through which the tissue stored in said tissue storing segment is taken out, the portable tissue container provided with at least one engagement means, and the handkerchief having the engagement means removably arranged against said engagement means off said portable tissue container are engaged to each other.
