PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective manufacturing method of a pipe, with which the load on the equipment caused by the thickness of the pipe is small and the roundness is easily maintained, and further the thickness deviation is not developed and the debris such as welded beads is not generated on the manufactured pipe. SOLUTION: Metallic material 2 heated and method in fluidizing state is made to flow out from a gap B between the discharging hole 4 in a storing vessel 5 and the conical part 6 of a mandrel 5. The flowing-out fluidized state metallic material 2a is made to flow down on the mandrel 5, and after it is formed into a prescribed inner diameter with the maximum outer diameter part 7a in a reverse tapered part 7, this is dipped into cooling medium 9 in a cooling device 8 and cooled and solidified to manufacture the metallic pipe 2a.
