PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can stably be gripped, while gripping a reel-mounted portion having a spinning reel mounted thereon, in a case where a brake lever or a fishing line is operated. SOLUTION: This fishing rod characterized in that anti-slipping members SD which can prevent the middle finger, ring finger or little finger from slipping in the vertical direction, when the reel-mounted portion is gripped by hand, are disposed on at least one side 12S among the right and left sides of the reel-mounted portion of the fishing rod having a reel-mounted surface on the lower side in the region between a front side hood 14 and a rear side hood 16.
