SOLUTION: In the rice washing and cooking device, the rice storing part A and the washing part B having a washing means which are provided in the state of being movable vertically by a normal and reverse rotation motor and the rice cooking part C provided with a rice cooking stand 2 for placing a rice cooker 1 in a drawable state are arranged from its upper side in the order, a control means capable of outputting a driving command signal to a driving means for elevating and lowering, a driving means for the washing means, etc., and a limit switch 29 for detecting whether the position of the rice storing part is at a set height are provided, and the driving signal is not outputted to a motor for washing from a CPU when the switch 29 detects that the height of the rice storing part is not a set one.
