PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive which is excellent in heat resistance and in decreasing the creases of a metal foil in laminating; a metal foil with an adhesive; and a metal-foil-clad laminate. SOLUTION: There are provided an adhesive which essentially comprises polyvinyl butyral, a polyfunctional acrylate compound, a melamine resin, and an epoxy resin and has the lowest melting temperature of 100 deg.C or lower; a metal foil with an adhesive prepared by laminating the adhesive to a metal foil; and a metal-foil-clad laminate prepared by placing the metal foil with an adhesive and a prepreg, one on top of another, so that the adhesive layer of the metal foil is in contact with the prepreg.
