PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling roll in which the points at issue in a rolling roll using the conventional high carbon series high speed steel material are solved, combining wear resistance, surface roughening resistance, seizing resistance, thermal cracking resistance and accident resistance in a well balance and preferably used for hot rolling.
