PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof joint member serving also as snow guard, which is used for lateral connection parts in the formation of a roof or the like by use of a facing material such as laterally roofing roof material or the like and additionally has snow guard function. SOLUTION: This waterproof joint member P serving also as snow guard is formed of a waterproof joint member A formed of a narrow plate 4 laid on a joint having a protruding part 4a protruded outward in the middle, a locking part 7 formed by protruding the lateral side edges of the part 4 outward and extending the tips to the inside, and having a locking tongue piece 9 having a substantially recessed sectional profile along the longitudinal direction formed substantially in the center, and a raised part 10 protruded upward substantially from the center of the part 4; and a snow guard B formed at one end of the raised part 10.
