<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately adjust the direction of a product using a soft packaging material like a snack pack. SOLUTION: This method and device are for adjusting the direction of a product using a soft packaging material like a snack pack. This method includes presenting of a product 7 to pattern detectors 10, 125 and detecting a pattern on a surface of this product. The detected pattern is compared with each of a plurality of prescribed patterns representing a respective direction of the product, a direction of the presented product is discriminated. In the case this discriminated direction is different from a desired direction, this product, rotated to be based on the discriminated direction 20-22, is made to face to the desired direction.</p> |
