PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inking blade opening regulator of an inking device for a printer capable of always accurately controlling the thickness of an ink film without necessity of operator's skill and maintaining a good print state. SOLUTION: The inking blade opening regulator 10 comprises an angle feedback mechanism 14 for controlling an inking blade 56, and a film thickness-to- angle converting means 13 receiving a film thickness command to output an angle command to the mechanism 14. In this case, the regulator 10 changes the opening of the blade to regulate the thickness of the ink film on the peripheral surface of an ink fountain roller. Thus, the thickness of the film can be always controlled irrespective of the change of the ink characteristics without necessity of operator's skill. The delicate tinge of printing can be easily regulated, and a good print state can be maintained. |
