<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new brake lever structure for the purpose of eliminating a push button from a brake lever. SOLUTION: This parking brake lever is operated following the procedure of raising an operating lever 2 from a non-braking state A to obtain a braking state B, slightly tilting the operating lever 2 freed in the braking state, by pull-back caused by braking force, to obtain a releasable state C, raising the operating lever 2 again from the releasable state C to obtain a released state D, and tilting the operating lever 2 from the released state D to reset it into the non-braking state A. A pawl 3 is provided with a turn-over spring 10 for energizing the pawl 3 in a direction of being engaged with or released from a ratchet tooth 4, and when the operating lever 2 freed in the braking state B is slightly tilted by pull-back caused by braking force, the turn-over spring 10 is changed in attitude from the initial state to energize the pawl 3 in the direction of being released from the ratchet tooth 4 to obtain the releasable state C.</p> |
