PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mat made of elastomer which reliably absorbs a shock applied at the time of stepping it with feet and never gives a large burden to a human body in spite of performing a standing work in a long period. SOLUTION: The mat made of elastomer is provided with plural projection parts 13 on its upper surface and projecting lines 14 on it lower surface, has plural areas formed so as to be surrounded by the lines 14 and is supported to a grounding surface by the lines 14. Sites on a rear surface corresponding the top parts of the parts 13 are within areas formed so as to be surrounded by the lines 14 and never interfere with the lines 14.
