PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily miniaturizable sunroof position detecting device capable of preventing the generation of noise. SOLUTION: In a moving path of the other end 11 of a cable 10, a cam member 18 is provided, surface-contacting with the other end 11 and slidable in an orthogonal direction. A switch 12 operated when contacting with the cam member 18 is provided at a slide position of the cam member 18.
