PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an alternative material for a glass having high electroconductivity. SOLUTION: This composite sintered compact is composed of a glass powder and a powder of an electroconductive oxide and has a glass phase and an electroconductive oxide phase dispersed in the glass phase and three- dimensionally connecting. The composite sintered compact has <=100 MΩ.cm volume resistivity.
